Pascack Brook Completely Inclusive Playground

PROJECT BACKGROUND
As part of capital improvements that been undertaken across the County to construct inclusive playgrounds for children of all abilities, Bergen County is seeking to construct a new playground at Pascack Brook County Park located in the Borough of Westwood that will be compliant with the standards outlined in Jake’s Law. Jake’s Law, passed in 2019, encourages counties and municipalities to build Completely Inclusive Playgrounds. The standards, set forth by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, can be found here.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH
The Bergen County Department of Parks will be conducting a community survey (https://forms.gle/ZpHz1fY3oHJbRV5W8) through February 2025 regarding the composition of the Completely Inclusive Playground and potential features to be included.
