BERGEN COUNTY ZOO DOCENT PROGRAM NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS

(HACKENSACK, NJ) – The Bergen County Zoo is now accepting applications for its 2024 Adult Docent program. Applications are due February 9, 2024.

Docents provide zoo guests with education experiences through a variety of programs including exhibit chats, tours, special events, and more. No animal knowledge or experience is required. Applications must be 18 years or older. Docents do not work directly with any animals.

Docents who are accepted into the program will have training in the spring of 2024. While training is done in cycles, Bergen County Zoo hopes that these docents will stay with the Zoo and continue being part of the team for years to come.
