Bergen County Office of Food Security Hosts Thanksgiving Produce Distribution with Community Food Bank of New Jersey 

WHO:                          County Executive James J. Tedesco III, Commissioner Tracy Silna Zur, Bergen County Office of Food Security, Community Food Bank of NJ

WHAT:                        The Bergen County Office of Food Security is partnering with the Community Food Bank of New Jersey to distribute 90,000 pounds of fresh produce to 45 food pantries in Bergen County. Produce boxes will include staples such as potatoes, carrots, onions, cabbage, apples and plums, and will be vital supplements to the already depleted food pantries leading up to the holiday.
