BERGEN COUNTY TO HOST CEREMONY IN RECOGNITION OF POW/MIA DAY

What:   Bergen County Executive James J. Tedesco, III, the Bergen County Board of Commissioners, and the Bergen County Department of Human Services, Division of Veteran Services will host a ceremony to commemorate National POW/MIA Recognition Day on Friday, September 15 at 12:30 p.m. National POW/MIA Recognition Day is observed annually on the third Friday of September to honor those who were prisoners of war or are still missing in action. Service medals will be presented to local honorees.
