CULTURAL & HISTORIC AFFAIRS HOSTS LECTURE – SAVING OUR HOME’S HISTORY
Lecture on Historic Home Registration Process Presented in Honor of National Historic Preservation Month
(HACKENSACK, NJ) – On May 19th at 7pm, the Bergen County Division of Cultural & Historic Affairs is hosting a free virtual lecture presented by Andrea Tingey, a Principal Historic Preservation Specialist with the New Jersey State Historic Preservation Office. In celebration of National Historic Preservation Month, Tingey will demystify the process of registering historic homes with the New Jersey State Historic Preservation Office as well as explain what it means for a homeowner. Tickets must be reserved ahead of time and a Zoom link will be provided to registered individuals.
The Division of Cultural & Historic Affairs (DCHA) is dedicated to encouraging public involvement in Bergen County heritage. This virtual lecture provides an opportunity for residents to participate in the ongoing process of preserving their community’s history.
